Warm greetings in Christ’s name from
Eusebia Presbyterian Church.
Bienvenidos, amigos latinos, a Eusebia Iglesia Presbiteriana.
Eusebia is a historic, small, but welcoming congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Do visit us. And consider becoming a member of our friendly church family. Here you may come as you are — even with your worst doubts and hardest questions – to learn, seek spiritual renewal, and make friends in a Christian setting. You’ll find helpful information as you visit our services of worship and/or other programs. Our Sunday services are weekly, 10:45 a.m., with Holy Communion, always open to all the baptized regardless of Christian denomination, each first Sunday and at special times in the Christian calendar.
You’ll also learn about some of the ministries associated with this church. Please note that our buildings are fully accessible to the physically challenged. “Eusebia” means “reverence to the Most High God and to His Son, Jesus Christ.” Early settlers, mainly Ulster-Scots from Ireland via northeastern American colonial port cities, or North Carolina or Virginia, chose this name in 1786 for their congregation, carved from the western Appalachian wilderness, and with early buildings nestled, as is today’s neo-Gothic edifice, in a valley in the shadow of the Smoky Mountains. Thank you for visiting our website;
Eastertide lasts until Pentecost, Sunday, May 19. Each Sunday we continue to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.
REMAINING SERVICES OF WORSHIP IN May, 10:45 a.m.:
Trinity Sunday, May 26- “Our Guiding Light” (Numbers 6:22-27).
